Lady Baga is the place to channel your inner hippie and is touted as Bengaluru’s first and only double-decker beach shack that is thoroughly Goan in mind, belly and soul.
At Lady Baga, the visual experience has been designed as a throwback to another time and what the shacks used to be like in the 60s. They have weaved together little strands of memories and stories to try to create a magical Goa moment for you.
Speaking at the launch, AD Singh, Managing Director, Olive group of restaurants said “The spirit of hippies and old Goa, of freedom, of liberty, of being able to do what you want in a world without racism, sexism, ageism, fascism, judgementalism, trollism; that Goa is what we wish for and miss. And that’s what we have tried to recreate at Lady Baga”.
Flea Market at Lady Baga
One can also indulge in some retail therapy at their flea market which sees a vibrant display by their designers. They have Horn Ok Please which is the brain child of Sabina Singh. Alongside they have Turquoise & Gold, a resort wear brand for the free-spirited, global traveler. House of Sohn, a contemporary label created to tell stories about women, culture, and art from all over the world. From Lakme Fashion Week SR 16, to pop-up shops in New york city every summer, to features in quintessential Parisian blogs, this label has just entered the Bengaluru market for the first time at the flea! Esha INC is a jewellery & accessories brand based in Bangalore that has established a reputation for showcasing sleek and chic finds and alluring limited edition ‘must-haves’.

Moroccan oil foot massages for the guests, temporary tattooing, make up before that fancy date with your long-time crush are all part of the Goan experience at Lady Baga!
Food at Lady Baga
While shacks in Goa today serve huge menus spanning many cuisines, Lady Baga’s vision is to serve beach shack classics of Goa and continental fare. To this Head Chef Abhishek Roy has added his vision for tomorrows shacks.
Small Plates
In the Small Plates section, one must try The Prawn Lonche, Crispy Fried Bombil, Sungta Maria – Goan style prawns on fried toast and Stir Fried Chicken. For vegetarians, the must haves are the Piri Piri Paneer & Vegetable Brochettes -Portuguese piri piri spiced char-grilled brochettes served with crisps & lemon-saffron aioli, Wild Mushroom Vol-au-vent, porcini, shitake, morel & button mushrooms in a creamy truffle sauce in a flaky puff.

One could also try the Mutton Keema Burger with twice ground delicate lamb seasoned with spices and herbs. A chefs special is the Shrimp Hoagie Roll where Baby shrimps and scallions in recheado aioli is served in warm, buttered hot dog roll. Remo might just write a song about it.
Thali
The working man’s lunch of home-style food is served marginally quicker than they do in Goa. Available from noon to 4 pm, it’s a staff favourite! The Thali comes in a variety of options to choose from – Vegetarian, Chicken, Mutton & Seafood served with Rice, Chapati, Salad, Pickle and Tivol (kokum shot).
Main Course
The Main Course selection has dishes inspired by Goa and people who actually live there. The delicious version of chef’s take of the classic Goan Prawn Curry is a must try. Enjoy Prawn Pulao, the chef’s special that is highly recommended by the chef himself. Another favourite of pork lovers is our version of the Pork Vindaloo, marinated and cooked in wine vinegar, garlic and Goan spices.
For vegetarians there is the delicious Goan Veg curry and the Cottage Cheese Tonne Mirsang. Have it with a typically Goan-style tempered Goan Dal with garlic and red chilli. We suggest no kissing for at least one hour after consumption.
Desserts
Before you leave, call for the Serradura, a delicious confection made from heavenly layers of crumbled biscuits, condensed milk & whipped cream or our Cardamom Crème Brûlée. A must have is the Vanilla & Saffron PannaCotta!
Chef’s Shack Specials
A special section in the menu is Chef Abhishek Roy’s Shack Specials. A Goan Beach Shack first! Chef Abhishek’s taken the spirit of Goa, sunshine and the ocean, and created a progressive menu for the shacks of tomorrow. This includes a low-cal Citrus Avocado Quinoa Salad, here organic quinoa couples with mixed leaves, edamame, orange, grapefruit, avocado, and walnuts in citrus dressing and Fresh Arabian Sea Tuna Tartare, where raw tuna and vegetables cured with lemon juice and coconut milk. Sesame Crusted Arabian Sea Tuna is served with pilaf rice, stir-fried vegetables and soy honey drizzle.
Beach Shack Fusion
In the Beach Shack Fusion section, Goa meets the world in these fusion creations, try the Three Cheese Musketeers with Chorizo. Cottage cheese, cheddar and mozzarella mingle with corn, coriander and jalapeño between two sheets of bread. Grilled and served with salad or fries, spicy mayo and ketchup. A must have is a Clam & Bacon Risotto with Prawn Balchao, where Fresh clams and bacon risotto cooked in white wine is served with a dollop of prawn balchao on top.
Cocktails at Lady Baga
Inspired by Goa, the people, the stories, and the flavours, the cocktails have been specially crafted to infuse Goa in a glass. Bloody Marianna is a house-made special Goan chorizo infused vodka! People can beam it up Scotty as ginger mingles with scotch and tamarind juice in The Ginger Man.
For beer lovers they have Hick Hick Hurray where raspberry, tequila, sprite and beer come together to create an all new tequila sunrise. With Sangria At Every Port, they give you Goan port wine, vodka, red wine, grape juice, apple juice and Cointreau swirled together. It’s every drinking man’s (and woman’s) dream.
