A quick journey to the incredible food at B Café, Shangri-La:
As I mentioned above that B Café serves a wide range of cuisines, ranging from the Middle Eastern, Japanese and more. Let me take you through some of the finest delicacies at B Café that you shouldn’t miss when dining here.
Pani Puri’s: I am writing this section especially dedicated to my readers who are not from India. If you haven’t tried the pani puri yet, do give it a shot at the B Café and ask for the mint water (Pudina ka Pani) instead of the regular tamarind one. I can bet on this one and you won’t find such amazing pani puri’s anywhere in Bengaluru.
Yasai: The Sushi platter with Prawn Tempura sushi, cucumber and cream cheese sushi, carrot nigiri, Asparagus maki roll, served with soy sauce, pickled ginger and wasabi. These are served in some amazing bamboo brackets as you can see in the image. Sushi lately has gained popularity across the globe and is a very healthy and oil-free preparation.
Chicken and pumpkin dim sum: Digging up some history about the dish, I found that dim sum actually originated as a need for snack, for the travelers on the ancient Silk Road; needing a place to rest have some tea and quick snack. Dim sum’s at the B Café are truly authentic in taste and make you feel like you are sitting at some Chinese restaurant all the way in China.
Zaffrani murgh dum biryani: There are certain chords that you need to strike right to the biryani awesome. Selection of spices, good meat and fine grains of rice are some of the most crucial elements that bring the right texture and aroma to the preparation. B Café serves some really fine Zaffrani murgh dum biryani, the moment you open the vessel, you get a mesmerizing wave of aromatic flavours floating. Five on Five.
There’s a lot more to explore at the B café like the Mezze platter, Winter greens chef creation (Salads), Orange and Campari Sorbet, Slow cooked lamb leg, Blue cheese and pear ice cream and much more.
Till then keep sharing, keep exploring and keep eating for the love of food.
XOXO
