Lounge Hospitality, part of Embassy Leisure has reinvented itself during these unprecedented times to launch a series of cloud kitchen brands that are user-friendly, delicious and safely delivered to your doorstep.
A future first company, they are innovating to meet the need of the hour, curating menus that are easy on the pocket, by optimizing the use of their physical infrastructure and human expertise.
From the creators of Sanchez and Sriracha, these cloud kitchen delivery brands are called HakkaChow, Bangalore Pizza Company, Mad Mex and Garam Masala.
Talking about the launch, Karan Virwani, Co-founder, Lounge Hospitality, said, “It is no secret that the F&B industry has been affected by the pandemic, hence we are pivoting into a sphere we feel excited about.”
“We are ready to provide delicious experiences in the comfort of your home, using our existing safety certified infrastructure and an eager talented team curating our menus to be lean, local and filled with favourites,” he further added.
HakkaChow showcases Asian market style meals, while Bangalore Pizza Company aims to bring you the best pizza slices the city can offer.
Mad Mex is a twist on Tex-Mex dishes using regional flavours and Garam Masala presents you feel-good North Indian cuisine.
When asked about this venture, Vikas Seth, Chef & Culinary Director, Embassy Leisure, said “This is the time to innovate. These menus are created with an aim to provide, fresh, incredibly delicious, wholesome food. Today, more than ever, we must incorporate healthy options into our menus, hence these brands have some creative and nutritious must-tries.”
HakkaChow was the first cloud kitchen brand to be launched on 14th August this year. Its menu includes an innovative take on all-time favourites like chili chicken & manchurian as well as a selection of build-your-own Asian bowls for when you just can’t decide.
It promises a dynamic selection of cyclic specials, value meals and express bento boxes. It brings to you the explosion of flavours you experience when you walk through a night market sampling as you go.
The Bangalore Pizza Company was launched on 9th September and is serving delicious hand-rolled, wood-fired oven pizzas with an array of toppings.
From their version of classics like the margarita and pepperoni pizza, the menu also has variants like the chicken tikka masala pizza, prepared with a velvety makhani sauce.
A week later, Mad Mex was launched on 16th September, delivering Tex-Mex cuisine to the comfort of your home. The menu boasts of a selection of Burrito Bowls, Nachos, Tacos and Quesadillas using fresh local ingredients.
The delicious and immunity-boosting pulled jackfruit fresh turmeric soft tacos or the masaledar paneer tikka quesadillas are some popular variations on this menu.
The last of the four brands, Garam Masala, is an ode to the single spice mix that is the essence of every thali in India. It was launched today.
Inspired by the little shops on the oldest food street of India, Grand Trunk Road, Garammasala’s menu features the best home-style preparations from the North Indian culinary ledger ranging from signatures like the Punjabi dal makhani, murgh makhanwala or the tandoori chicken to healthy options like the tandoori malai broccoli.
Another popular inclusion in this menu is the missi roti, enjoyed hot in the pleasant weather of Bangalore.
