HopsHaus launches its Brewery with a range of artisanal beers

HopsHaus, a new micro brewpub nestled in a picturesque botanical setting in Whitefield, has launched its brewery to bring to you some of the finest beer experiences.

Brought to you by Lounge Hospitality, part of Embassy Leisure, HopsHaus is a commune of experiences shared over handcrafted artisanal brews.  

With an open to sky oasis, cozy yet contemporary furniture and botanical décor, the pub has a serene and calming vibe. It is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city.

With two floors of seating, there’s plenty of space to just mill about with your drinks for a relaxed brunch or casual evening out.

Brewed by fermenting honey and water, Mead, one of the oldest fermented drinks known to man, has always intrigued the brewers at HopsHaus. Made with local honey from forests in Karnataka, HopsHaus presents its first Mead on tap and plans to give patrons different versions of mead with each batch that is brewed.  

George Jacob, Brewmaster at HopsHaus, says, “Art of hops is what our beers are all about. At HopsHaus, we trace beer’s craft not just to its recent renaissance but way back to Viking jousts and bustling European ale houses. We find inspiration in beer’s crafty stories and in the golden hops that styles new brew stories.”

“Our hops are sourced from the world over, from Czech meadows to Australian hop farms just so our brews can stay true to the legends they live up to. We aim to give Bangalore city a taste of flavors and aromas that are simple yet unique in their offering,” he adds.

On the tap are some of the crowd favourites like the Witty Belgian (Belgian Wit), Honey Maiden (Mead), with gentle floral flavours of wild honey, The Hip Hopster (IPA), a citrusy crisp, still and floral hipster, Basmati Bounty, a grainy rice Lager that teases the senses with a hint of herbs and a sweet lingering finish.

Curated by Chef Vikas Seth, the global food menu perfectly complements the beer. Whether it is The Hops-Haus Fries Roulette, Loco Fiesta Nachos, Samosette, Wasabi Prawns, Tijuana Chicken Tikka, or the classic favourite Tres Leches, there is a perfect pairing for every brew.
