Two new Instax instant film varieties – Square Rainbow and Square Monochrome accompanies the launch of Instax SQUARE SQ1
Fujifilm India today announced the launch of its Instax SQUARE SQ1 Instant Camera. This new addition is an analog, square camera and creates square format instant prints at 1.5 times the size of its instax mini counterparts.
With the Instax Square SQ1, the company has introduced a minimalist, user-friendly square design with key features such as automatic exposure and one-touch selfie mode.
Commenting on the launch Masaki Zenko, Head of Instax division and Senior manager of Photo Imaging division, Fujifilm India said, “We are thrilled to expand our wide range of Instax cameras with the funkiest and newest Instax Square SQ1. We are confident that it will fit right in with our creative, expressive user base and allow them to create compelling new instant prints.”
One of the key features of the new addition to this Instax range is its automatic exposure. This function automatically senses the level of ambient light when the shutter button is pressed and optimizes the shutter speed and flash output according to lighting conditions.
It even allows novice Instax users to take photos that are automatically properly exposed regardless of conditions, producing clearer and more vibrant instant prints on the spot.
Along with its built-in selfie mirror, its one-touch selfie mode is designed specifically for selfies and close-up shots, setting the best focus and exposure for the shot by changing the position of the lens when activated (by simply twisting the lens after powering the camera on).

Additionally, also accompanying the launch of the Instax SQUARE SQ1 are the two new Instax instant film varieties – Instax SQUARE Rainbow Film and Instax SQUARE Monochrome Film, designed to allow users to add even more creativity to their square images.
The all-new Instax SQUARE SQ1 will be available in terracotta orange, glacier blue, and chalk white with bookings available from 24th September on Amazon and Flipkart, at INR 10,999.
