Aakash Institute partners with Airtel Digital TV to provide Ed-Tech content through TV screens

Makes test preparation highly accessible by taking it to over 17 mn Airtel Digital TV customers

Aakash Educational Services has forayed into the Satellite Education space with the launch of the first-of-its-kind Aakash EduTV in partnership with Airtel Digital TV to provide ed-tech content, catering to students living in remote parts of the country.

The initiative aims at training students residing in small towns, villages who do not have access to internet facility, electronic devices like laptop and smartphones for studying, by beaming lectures directly onto their TV screen.

There will be separate channels for NEET and JEE/Class 9th and 10th.

Commenting on the launch, Aakash Chaudhry, Director and CEO of Aakash Educational Services said, “We are committed to providing the best of the facilities to deserving students across the country. Through Aakash EduTV’s partnership with Airtel Digital TV, we will now be able to convert the dream of every boy & girl who want to become a doctor or engineer into reality.”

“This program transcends geographical boundaries and does away with the dependence on modern gadgets and internet facility,” he further added.

Aakash EduTV will be available exclusively through Airtel Digital TV free till Oct 21, 2020 for Airtel Digital TV consumers.

While Aakash EduTV-JEE and Class 9th and 10th will be available on Airtel Digital TV Channel No. 467, Aakash EduTV – NEET will be available on Airtel Digital TV on Channel No. 478.

Students having Airtel TV Connection can give a missed call on 9154052478 to subscribe to NEET Channel and 9154052467 to subscribe to the JEE Channel after the free period finishes.

The programs on the channels will provide high-quality ed-tech training sessions to students who aspire to become doctors or engineers and will help them excel in their lives.

Class 9th and 10th students will be taught mathematics and science. The faculties will teach in simple English so that it will be easy for every student to understand the subject in detail.
