The country’s biggest celebration of cocktails, India Cocktail Week is back to town again after stellar editions previously in Delhi, Goa and Bengaluru last February. Slated for December 4th & 5th, India Cocktail Week promises to be bigger than ever.
India Cocktail Week has definitely been one of the big reasons for the growing interest in cocktail and mixology culture in the country. The festival unites bars around the city to collectively provide versatile cocktails at special prices. It’s a week-long line up of bar activations, masterclasses, pop-ups by some of the world’s best bartenders, secret tastings & much more, amalgamating into a two day cocktail village on 4th and 5th of December.
The week transcends into a two-day cocktail village at the Prince of Wales Lawns, Taj West End, Bengaluru. The Village is a blend of music, international bartender take-overs, bar pop-ups, unique cocktails & food experiences.
There is a gamut of International and home grown brand like Baileys, Svami, Black and White, Singleton, JW Red Label, Dewars, Bacardi, Martini, Bombay Sapphire, Jim Beam, and Simba among others at the cocktail village that will enliven people’s senses with flavour and excite them with showmanship. To add to the carnivalesque excitement, guests can also catch an exclusive line-up of artists such as Lifafa, Anyasa, Monkey Safari, Kan-i and many more.
Talking about the festival, Akshat Kumar, Co-founder, India Cocktail Week says, “It is a passion project. It is our effort in furthering the beautifully growing landscape of cocktail culture and mixology. With more awareness of new techniques, liquors and liqueurs of the world there has been an exponential demand in festivals that cater to enthusiasts. We are always thrilled to be doing this and it is a pleasure to watch so many people come together to celebrate cocktail culture and at such a massive scale too.”
This festival offers bespoke cocktail experiences at leading venues in the city, along with giving you access to some of the best and most loved bars across the globe.
“After what the industry has been through the past year, we want to furthermore reflect how far the beverage industry has come and celebrate their resilience and creativity. We only hope to make it bigger and engage with more people and have larger partnerships both nationally and internationally for India Cocktail Week,” says Sharan Behl, Co Founder – India Cocktail Week.
